Inspired by the Tutti initiated 2011 residency of a team from the disability led Oska Bright Film Festival in Brighton U.K., disabled artists from Tutti, ‘Superstars’, (from the Mid North of South Australia) and the Barossa Valley, have formed a committee to create Australia’s first learning disability film festival.
Supported by Tutti, Mid North Health, The Barossa Council and Country Arts SA, the committee meets monthly in Gawler to plan workshops with other disabled artists in Regional South Australia in the lead-up to the first proposed Film and New Media Festival in 2014.
The committee members are: Chair: Lee Witczak, Vice Chair: Aimee Crathern, Matthew Wauchope, Liam Wilkins, James Kurtze, Samantha Charles and Ryan Thomas.
