Up near the QLD border Is a place by the name of Moree It has a bit of a reputation But you’ll have to come and see
All around the country Blackfulla’s know our name Yeah we’re from The Big M Most will say the same
Brought up with Respect, Dignity and Pride Taught that by our Elders Our Culture never dies
Top Camp, Common, Mission, Middle Camp Our Community is all one Kicking back yarning up Underneath the blazing sun
Yeah we got the Boomerangs The Crown Jewels of our Town Helps pull our mob together You can’t keep a good thing down.
Moree is not a perfect town But it’s up there with the best And you ask any Murri around
